Ariana Madix is just as in the dark as fans are when it comes to the future of Vanderpump Rules.
"I don't know," the Love Island USA host exclusively told E! News' Will Marfuggi Sept. 26 when asked if the Bravo series will return for season 12 while hosting DIRECTV Gets Real presented by People and Entertainment Weekly. "I don't know." (Check out more of our Ariana interview on E! News Monday, Sept. 30, at 11 p.m.)
Plus, Ariana isn't exactly jumping at the chance to jump back into the drama after longtime costars Lala Kent and Scheana Shay turned on her at the season 11 reunion earlier this year.
"I haven't been in touch with Lala at all," the 39-year-old confirmed. "Scheana and I talk every once and a while. I love to see her doing well and I think she's also in the same boat as me."
And with all of her recent professional success outside of VPR—from nearly winning Dancing With the Stars to starring in Chicago on Broadway—it sounds like Ariana might have moved on to her next chapter. But is the rest of the cast ready to say goodbye?
"I don't talk to any of them," Ariana bluntly admitted. "So you'd have to ask them."
However, the Something About Her co-owner clarified she's still very much in contact with her business partner Katie Maloney as they manage their West Hollywood sandwich shop together.
"I talk to Katie all the time," Ariana added. "I don't know how she feels. We've just been focused on our business."
But that doesn't mean Ariana is done with reality TV for good. She hopes to return to her hosting duties on the next season of Peacock's hit dating competition series Love Island USA. And, no, she isn't shocked with how the reality show's popularity has skyrocketed since she joined last year.
"Not surprised in the fact that I've loved that show for so many years," she told E!. "So I've been telling everyone for years and years, 'This is the best show, you have to watch it.' So I'm a little bit like, 'I told you. It's the best.'"
Watch E! News Monday, Sept. 30, at 11 p.m. for more scoop from Ariana.
